Your role

  • As Senior UX Designer, you will be a key player in shaping our digital product portfolio. You will: 
  • Lead end-to-end design processes from discovery and user research through to high-fidelity prototypes and design handoff 
  • Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes in Figma 
  • Conduct user research including interviews, usability testing, and contextual inquiries with healthcare professionals 
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and medical experts to translate complex requirements into intuitive interfaces 
  • Maintain and evolve our design system, ensuring consistency across all digital touchpoints 
  • Champion accessibility standards and regulatory compliance (IEC 62366, FDA human factors guidelines) 
  • Mentor junior designers and contribute to the growth of the UX practice 

Your profile

  • 7+ years of professional experience in UX/product design, ideally in medtech, healthtech, or regulated industries 
  • Degree in interaction design, human-computer interaction, industrial design, or related field 
  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma (components, auto-layout, prototyping, variables) 
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process and measurable impact 
  • Experience with design systems and component libraries at scale 
  • Solid understanding of user research methodologies and ability to synthesize findings into actionable insights 
  • Familiarity with agile development processes and cross-functional collaboration 
  • Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus 
  • Experience with usability engineering for medical devices (IEC 62366) is highly desirable
